Armenia is a landlocked country in the Eurasian Caucasus. The land has a total area of 29,740 km². This area is approximately 118% of the area of Maryland. There is no access to the open sea. There are direct national borders with the 4 neighbouring countries Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran and Turkey. Climate
