Bahamas are an archipelago in the caribbean sea. The land has a total area of 13,880 km² and a total coastline of 3,542 km. This area is approximately 112% of the area of Sydney. The archipelago consists of about 700 partially uninhabited islands. Bahamas have no direct neighbours.
